Free Entry to Cape Of Good Hope Nature Reserve and Cape Point

Cape PointTo celebrate National Parks Week SANParks are giving all South Africans free entry to Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. The offer is from 12 to 16 September 2011 and all you need to do is turn up at the gate with a South African ID book.

This is a brilliant offer, especially if you are not a Wild Card owner, as the entry fee is a bit steep (if you are a family of four then it can be very off putting).  So take the opportunity to explore a real natural treasure on your doorstep- you can spend a full day in the park with ease- there is more to Cape Point than a lighthouse. You would be very unlucky to drive around and not see plenty of wildlife.

Other parks involved in the offer are Agulhas, Bontebok, Tankwa and West Coast National Park. Unfortunately Boulders is not included.

Its not often you get offers like this so make the most of it, support the initiative and maybe SANParks will continue to see value in doing it.

Put “visit Cape Point” in your diary know!
